Dear Spotify,
The recent loss of the Atoms for Peace album AMOK from your service has lead me to re-examine my relationship with your Premium product. I had not, until the loss, realized that downloaded music would not remain on my machine regardless of your relationship with the record companies, etc. I reasoned that $9.99 a month equaled out to about the same amount of money I spent yearly buying new music. Now, however, I realize that I don't actually "own" anything I have downloaded from your service. As well, I have discovered that downloaded music can suddenly vanish from my machine. All this means that I must still purchase music from another source such as Amazon.
I recognize that I most likely missed all this important information when I contracted MEGO while scanning the thousands of words in your service contract. Alas, this error does not comfort me in any way.
And so, in conclusion, it appears that I may very well be ending my relationship with Premium Spotify. I am very sorry we couldn't work out our differences. But it appears it was just meant to be this way.
Sincerely,
Me
Addendum: Wow, they have really nice support staff! Even though they could not fix my issue, the were pretty sympathetic and gave me a one month credit; which in allowed me to buy the album. Well, that worked out. And again, nice people. There really is something to be said for nice people.
