I went to Southport for a few days at the start of March

This Reed Chill Cheater is my favorite top now. I am much more comfortable in it with my poly-o bottoms than I am in my drysuit. Alas, there is still a few months in WDC where the drysuit is a must.

Spring has come to Southport, the birds are moving through on their way north.

I have been paddling a bunch. But with the death of my Nikon I find I am just not taking many, if any, photos. I really need to do something about this!









I need to mine the interwebs and find pics my mates have taken. Next post, I promise!

And then for a few brief days a warm spring  weather appeared here in WDC. We had cocktails and soaked up some sun. But the respite was brief and we are back to 40 degree (F) and rainy weather here.

Today I lead the first of three Cherry Blossom paddles. I will attempt to get photos. I will let you know how it goes!
