Southport in August

I had swung through Southport in mid-August. I took a few photos and then misplaced the camera. I just found it yesterday, edited the pics today. So here's a few highlights:

We landed on one of the shoals for a break. The sand was soft and I sank up to my calves. The water was warm and gentle on this side of the shoal.

Tis set of pics is a reminder of what I love about Southport.
